Council seeks to revise street maintenance fee structure for businesses
Belgrade's City Council is reconsidering how it charges property owners for street maintenance, concerned that a proposed fee hike on commercial properties could drive businesses to neighboring communities. The Belgrade Regional Parks, Trails, and Recreation District unanimously approved its fiscal year 2027 budget on June 4th, setting aside $250,000 for potential debt service on a $6 million land purchase. The district is negotiating with the DNRC to acquire regional parkland and exploring a cost-share arrangement with Public Works.
